    A die hard Michael Jackson fan and an expert at L.A form of Salsa, Ram is the founder and artistic director of Ram’s Step Up Dance Company. He proved his mettle by putting his students on the radar of emerging talents of India. He firmly believes in filling his stomach through pure hard work and determination, a person who had a vision to touch the skies and aim for the stars.


    Born in a middle class family, his ambition to achieve and make a mark never deterred his perseverance. After completing his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nizam College, Hyderabad, he started off as a freestyle dancer, instructing a very small group of children aged 10-15. He further went on to pursue his Master’s degree in the L.A form of Salsa. With an aim of starting his own Dance Company in his homeland and making it as big as possible after completing his degree and he started RSU.


    His potential to create awareness of all dance forms including Hip Hop, Modern dance, Contemporary, Freestyle and Ball-room dancing has led people to choose from a varied set of dance styles - either as a hobby or as a stress buster.


    Ram’s mantra of doing things differently in life proves him to be a “go-getter”. His research in combining various anatomies of ballroom dancing with modern dance grabbed a lot of attention and reviews from dancers across the globe. Ram has been a source of inspiration to many youngsters who were given a platform to prove themselves in the present competitive world.

    Ram has been associated with a number of NGO’s and other organizations like ITC, MAD, 24*7, etc to provide classes for the under privileged.

    With 5 state of the art studios at Hyderabad, RSU DC is rapidly expanding in other cities and making its presence prominent.
